In shaping this piece, our studio guided the evolution of the concept, exploring forms, materials, and spatial presence to ensure that it would not only captivate the eye but also offer a subtle, immersive experience for anyone who encounters it.
Challenge
The main challenge lay in harmonizing sculptural beauty with outdoor practicality. The design had to convey softness, embrace, and comfort while remaining resilient against weather and wear—creating an object that feels alive, inviting, and enduring.
Solutions
Through an attentive exploration of form, texture, and material, the lounger’s enveloping contours and matte polyethylene finish were carefully articulated. Every curve and surface was considered to balance sensuality, ergonomic comfort, and durability. In this way, the studio’s intervention unfolded as a dialogue between aesthetics and experience, resulting in a solar lounger that becomes both a focal point of the space and a vessel for quiet moments of pleasure.
