Summary

This project focuses on the interior design of the Deutsche Finance Group headquarters in Munich’s H29 building, developed in collaboration with Susanne Fritz Architekten. The concept revolves around two key elements: the gradient, representing the subtle balance between transparency and discretion, and the rock, a material evoking solidity and reliability. Our studio was responsible for the development of the concept ande the interior design, helping to shape spaces that communicate the group’s identity while providing a functional, high-quality workplace for offices in Munich and across the organization’s European network.

Challenge

The main challenge was to embody abstract corporate values in tangible architectural and interior elements. The design needed to balance openness and privacy, creating areas for collaboration and client interaction while preserving confidentiality and fostering a sense of trust.

Solutions

Our approach involved the careful selection of materials, finishes, and spatial layouts that reflect the conceptual duality of transparency and solidity. Gradients in glass and partitions were used to modulate visibility, while stone and textured surfaces conveyed strength and reliability. Through these strategies, our studio translated the company’s ethos into a cohesive, elegant, and functional interior environment that embodies both professionalism and identity.
