Summary
The sculpture was conceived as a bold and iconic form, its fluid geometry evoking the energy of a splash frozen in time. Positioned within one of the most visited pavilions of the Expo, the piece functioned not only as a sculptural element but also as a landmark that guided and engaged visitors. Its scale and visual impact reflected the ambition of the event, designed to leave a lasting impression.
Challenge
The primary challenge was to translate a highly expressive, complex shape into a physical object that could be fabricated with precision and installed within the constraints of the exhibition. The sculpture required advanced technical solutions to ensure structural stability, visual fidelity, and seamless integration with the pavilion’s architectural language.
Solutions
Our studio was responsible for the design development, 3D modeling, and CNC production of the Splash Sculpture. By combining digital design tools with cutting-edge fabrication technologies, we were able to faithfully transform the conceptual vision into a tangible form. The result was a sculptural installation that balanced artistic expression with technical rigor, demonstrating how design innovation and manufacturing expertise can converge to create an iconic work.
